TS0501B / _TZ3210_agjx0pxt LED controller intermittently online

Hi,

I just installed a TS0501B / _TZ3210_agjx0pxt Zigbee controller for a single-channel LED strip. I can add it to my Zigbee network, but it stays online for only a minute or so. After that, it goes offline (but the LED strip stays on) and I can’t control it anymore. But when I start the discovery mode on my Zigbee network, the LED controller most of the times shows up there again after a while. I can then add it again and the story repeats itself. Sometimes, I am able to control the brightness, in the short period it is online. So the thing is functioning, but somehow loses it’s connection.

I this just a faulty unit, or is it a software thing? Does someone have a similar experience?

Here are some details about the unit: on the outside of the unit the label reads: Rexlight Zigbee 3.0 Single Color LED Controller, Model No.: C01Z. The device info in HA reads:

TS0501B
door _TZ3210_agjx0pxt

What I’ve tried so far:

  • re-adding the device
  • re-adding the device specifically via the network coordinator
  • turning the power off and on and then re-adding

My Zigbee coordinator is a Sonoff Zigbee stick, identifying as:

If you have a clue could be going on, please let me know!
