Joins ZHA but does not see any entities. I read a lot of topics about the clamp meter version, but I can’t get anywhere.

Just got the same device as I thought it would work with Z2M, but same behavior as for you with ZHA. Device is just detected as not supported…

I hope this tool gets support as soon as possible. The device has very favorable functions, which is why I chose it.

I have added support, just wait for the next release which contains the herdsman converter or create an external converter in the meantime if you are impatient :grinning:

Thanks! Sorry, I’m a bit late to answer. I’m glad you were able to add support. I couldn’t try the converter because I use ZHA. I’ll wait, the support will still be included. Thanks for addressing the issue!

This is in lay terms the “2023 edition” of the “real” Hiking DDS238-2 and the supply of the 2021 version which has a bit better support is close to 0 now (TOMZN themselves seem to have some hidden in the cellar which you might get if you give them a good reason).

None of the several TS0601 quirk files you can find on the net get everything right. Most are using fixed divisors/multipliers instead of getting the values off the device.

I bought 3 Hiking DDS238.2 from Ali Express on September last year. I could integrate them to my HOme Assitant using MQTT. I got 4 new POwer Meter, same model, same vendor and I just could not intregrate my new Power Meters. Checking my logs:

As I have a docker installation,I pulled latest docker images and could solve the problem, now I can see my 4 new devices.
