TTS Folder. How to automatically delete the content?

I found that the TTS folder inside /config is full of audio files containing the reply to all my questions to voice assistants and from automations calling voice reply. May i safely delete all those files? And, there is a way to automatically delete them after a certain time?

NHello Maurizio Fabiani,

You can turn the cache off when you send a TTS, that might not generate them:
Text-to-speech (TTS) - Home Assistant.

If you delete everything, any static message will break as HA will look for the cache it thinks is there, or that’s my experience.

The cache does time out and clear itself, I don’t know the mechanics of that but there is a time limit built-in.
