There’s a problem with HOME ASSISTANT Cloud’s TTS in Italian… I think it’s a common problem (and this only happens with Home Assistant Cloud’s TTS).
I use Nabu Casa for TTS.
When the last word in Italian ends with “ci”… the TTS doesn’t pronounce the last two letters “ci” of a long or short speech.
Even just asking them to repeat a single word that ends in “ci” fails to complete it.
For example:
16 in Italian is “sedici”… the TTS will only pronounce “sedi.”
Friends in Italian is “amici”… the TTS will only pronounce “ami.”
Happy in Italian is “felici”… the TTS will only pronounce “feli.”
This only happens when the word is the last word.
If the word isn’t the last word in a speech, the problem doesn’t occur.
