I’ve already read that I may need to install some third party addons to get the tts output for a browser (Browser Mod, etc)… but:
I’ve just subscribed to Nabu Casa - and there’s the following option available:
Why can I select the Browser in the “Demo” - but why is it not available when I am trying to use the Service?
Could this be a bug, since the “Browser” seems to be already available (and the test is working)…
Yeah, i experienced the same (Windows PC). Speech works on “demo” but not otherwise.Strange indeed. Back then when i asked i didn’t get any explanation or answer why this is happening or how to solve it, so i gave up on this option.
If you have Windows PC a good and reliable option is to install HASS.Agent for windows, then also install HASS.Agent integration in HA from HACS store and you’ll have a working media player (and also other functionalities, like commands from / to PC, sensors from PC etc…)

I am already running HASS.agent on my private computer at home for testing (at least, getting some basic monitoring information from my computer)… Will give it a try with the additional integration
In this case, the “missing” output on browser is on a different machine, where I can’t run such software 
[or at least, it would only work while I’m at home / connected at home]
