Turbro Doghouse Heater

I got one of these in my dog house and it is the DH800A Smart heater, it has its own automation integrations and it appears to work quite well. My old setup was a oil heater and a tplink kasa plug with a yolink therm sensor and setup automation in home assistant when sensor reaches X temp it kicks on the plug to turn the heater on, and when it gets to X temp it kicks off to turn off. This Turbro can do this built in with the app but i think it would be awesome if the temps and status of unit were atleast capable of being displayed in home assistant. I currently do not see any integrations with the base home assistant or anything in HACs. Has anyone ever thought about or worked on getting this to work in homeassistant?

It seems to be wifi based.
I would open it up and see if there was an ESP chip inside.

What is the name of the app?

app is called AIR.ai

Can’t find any kind of information about it that is relevant.

As said open it up and look for an ESP.
If it has an ESP then you can load ESP-Home on it once you figure out what pin turns on the heater and where the temperature sensor is connected

I will give that a shot

To anyone here looking for the same info, I did some digging into the mac address of the unit and discovered its a TUYA inc device. Home assistant can integrate with Tuya, so i downloaded the Tuya app on my phone and repaired the unit with this app and deleted the AIR.ai app and set everything up. I now have it paired with my home assistant.
