Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make all the lights in a room turn off at once rather than in sequence?
Turning the lights off one at a time when we press a button is annoying the other halff
If the lights use Zigbee: Group them into a Zigbee group, expose the group as single entity to HA. Lights will turn on/off synchronous.
If not, create a HA group with all lights. This does not prevent the “popcorn effect” in total, but will reduce the latency.
Thanks for that. Unfortunately my lights are all Tuya with automation triggered by Google assistant or by zigbee buttons. I added the lights to a group but that had minimal impact. They worked fine when I used a room in smart life, it’s just home assistant that can’t seem to do a simultaneous command
