Turn on light trough applescript

Is it possible to turn on a light I have in HA by running an applescript.
I found this thread on how to run a HA script trough SSH. Do I have to put all the HA-commands in a script first, can’t I simply put all commands in my applescript?

Nick is correct that a token is the best way on this, but you still can use password, oh and I believe in this scenario you need to do a post. The API requires a post or get for interaction. curl -X post https://yoururl/api/services/automation/trigger?api_password=you_password -H {“content-type”: “application/json”} -D {“entity_id”: “automation.your_automation”}

Can you call a post command from an applescript? If so you are in business.
