My HomeSeer switches don’t fire a status update when switched on manually and instead fire a zwave.scene_activated event. This causes problems as the light doesn’t appear to be on so I have hacks to check both and it’s prone to errors. Is there a way I can tell HA that the switch is on if I see the zwave.scene_activated event? I tried this but it doesn’t seem to work:
- alias: 'Bathroom light manual switch off'
trigger:
- event_type: zwave.scene_activated
platform: event
event_data:
entity_id: zwave.bathroom_light
scene_id: 1
scene_data: 1
action:
- service: switch.turn_off
entity_id: switch.bathroom_light_switch
- alias: 'Bathroom light manual switch on'
trigger:
- event_type: zwave.scene_activated
platform: event
event_data:
entity_id: zwave.bathroom_light
scene_id: 1
scene_data: 0
action:
- service: switch.turn_on
entity_id: switch.bathroom_light_switch
