Turning off LED in OZWCP?

I am trying to set my GE 12730 Fan Control Switch to have the LED off when in operation… I am ashamed to admit its taken me hours to get this far and a hell of a lot of reading threads (man documentation is rough… lol). It has three options:

LED ON when light off
LED ON when light on
LED always off

I can switch between the first two settings. However, if I select off, it selects the option and immediately reverts to the previous setting. Its like it can’t apply it. Doesn’t make sense to me when the other two work. Below is what was in the logs. Any ideas?

I am about to break the damn light off the PCB its driving me mad…

Bump… hopefully someone can assist.

Did you just give up and put some tape over the LED? I feel like GE messed up with these fan control switches and didn’t allow that config option to be configurable.
