I have home assistant running on a raspberrypi and downstairs I have an iPad that is mostly used as a frontend using the home assistant app. However, we also use the iPad for other things such as choosing music or reading the news. Is it possible to send a message to the iPad from the home assistant (via an automation for example) so that the home assistant app become the active app on the iPad. I can almost do it using the notify.mobile_app but it requires that I tap on the notification on the iPad. Is there a way to do it without intervention on the iPad?
If anything can do it, it would be browser mod.
I thought this was the solution too that but as far as I can tell, for the iPad to receive a message from the browser_mod, it needs the home assistant on the iPad to be running and active, which defeats my purpose…
