I have a KS-602S smart switch that I’m trying to flash with a recently installed version of Tuya-Convert. I’m getting an error message when TC is trying to connect to the smart switch “Attempting to diagnose the issue … Your devices firmware is to new”. I believe the next step would be to try and serial flash the device, however I’ve grown accustom to flashing it via OTA. The device was purchased about 4 months ago (or longer) and I’m wondering if there is a solution other than resorting to a flash via serial connection? Thanking you in advance for any help that can be provided.
Tuya Convert is that solution. If it fails to work (because the vulnerability that it exploits in the device’s Tuya firmware has been corrected) then you must revert to using a serial connection.
