I’m still new to HA, so please be gentle 
I would like to get a Tuya garage roller shutter controller, with sensor from Aliexpress.
There is a choice of a Zigbee or WiFi one. The garage is separate from the house by about 10m, however I plan on having Wi-Fi around the garden anyway and will likely end up with Zigbee coverage too for lights etc.
Whats the advantages/disadvantages of Zigbee over Wi-Fi and vice-versa?
Any more/less security with Zigbee/Wi-Fi?
House if 500m away from neighbours, so no issues of channels.
I already have some Tuya devices and have Tuyalocal running.

Would there be any issues reading the sensor state in HA to display if garage door is open or closed?
Anybody using one of these and have any feedback?
