I had the Tuya integration working just well. But after having problems with the pi, I reinstalled HA from scratch. And now I can no longer add the Tuya integration. I am pretty sure the values I fill out for the Tuya account (iOt and app) are correct. But the API just respond with an 500 internal error. “An unknown Error occured”. ANy idea how I can resolve this. Are there logs anywhere on the Pi that may have more details? Thanks
And then I found the logs and the reason for the failure. A clipboard copy of the iot account name added a leading space…
Maybe it would be good to trim the input before submitting? But this topic may help others, check your input for leading or trailing spaces
