I’m using ZHA with a Sonoff zigbee push-switch, a simple automation (created using the GUI) which toggles a mains switch via Tuya (cloud, not local). It’s always been intermittent, working perfectly some days and then becoming unresponsive.
When it becomes unresponsive, I can always control the switch via the web interface running on a local windows machine, and also through the Tuya app. So I’m guessing the problem is the way the Zigbee device talks to HA.
The trace timeline shows:
- Triggered by the event ‘zha_event’ at 21 January 2024 at 10:05:54
- Toggle “<“unknown entity”>”
- Finished at 21 January 2024 at 10:05:54 (runtime: 0.08 seconds)
The automation shows:
- Toggle 7 - workbench Socket 1
So why is the trace showing ‘unknown entity’ when the automation clearly knows what it is?
Is this likely to be the cause of the intemittent failures?
