I’m looking for a solutions to add my older air conditioner to my home assistant dashboard, I’m using a Tuya IR sensor to connect with the Tuya app, that works great and also with the Google home connection.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
If you are looking to control the mains on an AC unit remember that is a highly inductive load, a big couple of motors. In-rush current is nasty. Look at the amps rating on the AC unit and provide a switch that can handle double that requirement for amps.
