Tuya Lights are crazy.. or misconfigured

Hey, I have been searchign around for this issue, but my google foo has left me coming up dry. I have used the standard tuya integration, using v2. Things are working to a limit. my 2 lights do not work correctly. I have a striplled light going around my desk, my plan for this is to have the colours represent different situations, Ie flashing when RPC shutdown starts.

The problem is other than turning them on and off, The other bits don’t work correctly. I can say change the colour once, and then its stuck at that, attempting to change it again will not work. Now interestingly, this affects the tuya app as well it will no longer change the colour. To fix this it looks like i have a contrast slider in the app for the strip lights. this is set to almost minimum when making a change through HA (this contrast bar is not added anywhere in HA). I enclose a screen shot of this annoying little contrast bar i found in the app.

Any help greatly apreciated.

I had similar issues with one or two of my lights, the easiest way I found to get around it was to set the light as I wanted it in Tuya then add then create a scent in Home Assistant and add the lights in the state you want them. Adding them to a scene takes a snapshot of the settings and tries to reapply them.

Hi Espada, this is kinda what i thought i would have to resort to, would like to know what this contrast is, so i could set it in HA, I imagine i have more learning curve to curve

Ive set the customisation.yaml to 191 for supported features…
