Tuya Local Energy Monitor

Hey guys,

Got my first Tuya Local integration up and running.

Great guide, simple and easy.

One thing with the energy monitoring that I’m a little confused about.

Is there a way to get the entity card to display a little better?

I’m not a sparky, so I’m assuming this is

Current Ma
Consumed Voltage
Supplied Voltage

But it would be better if it was a little more readable

Thanks

hello you found any solution ??? i have 2 outlets and i cant take current consumption - Voltage

I really do not get it what is not working right.
If you have done the configuration then you might show us those 2 sensors from the developer tools cause there we can see values and more.

In general the local tuya is working but the biggest issue that had come back again and again is usually getting the right keys which had been recently only achieved with a rooted android phone or an android emulation running on PC where a special tuya app will be used for to get access to these keys needed. There most of the people are struggling, but not with the connected / integrated sensor.

I have tuya local energy monitor and it works for those tuya socket that support the feature cause there are also sockets on sale that look the same and behave the same but do not support the energy monitoring - and those will never report energy consumption, cause they can only be used for remote switching or schedules.

Please add a screenshot of those 2 sockets you have already implemented.

Hi, I have 2 power monitoring switches and I thought I would share the sensor options I used.
These are devices from local South African brands:

Here is the second switch:

I also have this, and just figured out how to make the Current read correctly. using power factor on the dip config. get it to 0.001. there is a challenge where the GUI wont take the 0.001 so you have to enter as 0.1 then move the cursor to add more 0s… Now… show to configure a Energy monitoring sensor that works with the Energy integration?
