Tuya Local Fan on/off not working

I use the Tuya local integration for my stadler form dehumidifier since a few month.
Since the last update I made, i can’t switch on/off the fan with the switch and the button below the fan percentage.
Setting the fan to 0% will switch it off.

How can I solve the problem?

I am seeing the same thing for two ceiling fans using Local Tuya.

Operating System 14.1
Frontend 20250106.0

I’ve had the same happen. Tuya lights were a problem in 2025.0 but were fixed in 2025.1 but now the fans are not working for the turn_on action. Setting a speed works but isn’t easy. Hoping that 2025.2 is just around the corner with a fix!

Tim’s suggestion of using this fork worked for my three fans.

There is now Local Tuya v5.2.3 that fixed the on/off action issue on Tuya fans. I now use this.
