Tuya motion sensors not resetting (binary)

I have great plans with a bunch of ZigBee motion sensors.
In HA it perfectly register motion, but the binary.sensor is from that point always on (motion registered)
This means that new motions is not registered, since it’s always on. The only way I can seem to force it to “no motion registered” is if I restart HA.

Let’s say I want it to turn on the light on motion. The first time it turns the light on, after that it will never trigger again.

I tried all kinds of helpers, switched and stuff I can think of. On motion, turn switch on, wait 10 min, if no motion turn the switch off.
Since it will never register another motion, the switch would never turn on again.

I’m stuck now, any ideas?

Could you tell us the model number of the motion sensors? With a link if possible.

It may be that you need a quirk to make them work properly. You can check if anyone else has had the same problem on GitHub:

Thank you for taking your time to reply. Made me think twice.
I like to not have too many integrations. Since you asked about the brand I thought why not try to add it to the Sonoff eWeLink app instead of adding it to smart Life. Tuya has always made things more complicated for my setup. So, by adding my Sonoff sensors to the Sonoff eWeLink app and adding the integration through have, it worked perfectly.

A yesterday well spent on nothing :sweat_smile: but at least today I’m happy.
