Tuya new devices not showing but first batch did

I see a lot of people talking about how the smart life Tuya devices are not show up. However i had all my devices show up during my setup of hassio. i replaced one that went bad and added a few and i can not get them to show up. Days later forced update nothing. ideas? PI4 running latest version of hass

I’m having the same issues all the existing devices showed up. I had 2 old bulbs on tuya for years but 30 on smart life app but it’s hard to add on home assistant so I’m switching everything over to tuya but no new devices will show up on home assistant but they pair with the app just fine.

Using Smart Life app and integration with Home-assistant

Lohas BR30 Flood lights (Tuya Smart Life) show up fine in Home-assistant through the Smart Life integration
But, the “[2020 Upgrade] Smart LED Light Bulb A21 by 3Stone” (Tuya Smart Life) lights do not show up in the Home-assistant.

Maybe this is depending on the manufacturer or type of LED bulb that is added to Smart Life? I have tried reloading the integration and am trying to remove blank-spaces in my device naming…, :frowning:

Check if your devices are listed

  • If they are not - don’t open an issue. Ask Tuya support to support your device in their /homeassistant API

I will try to do this, and send them my device info

I tried amazon top 4 brands any new light doesn’t show up on HA through tuya only older lights and the older lights don’t update the state of the light. At this point anyone trying to use home assistant with RGB lights for automations or scenes etc it’s useless. I feel like they are ignoring fixing their API for new lights as they want everyone to use smart things and their Tuya/Smart life (same company) app and once they get the market in a corner they can charge a monthly fee.

My question is there any way to trigger Alexa through home assistant to activate a light/color like you do voice? There could be a work around as Alexa can see all the states the lights are in and control new ones paired with Tuya.

I´ve tried tuya integration, tuya_local & tuya 2.0 but my BlitzWolf Air Fryer BW-AF1 does NOT show up in Home Assistant.

It works like charm on the Smart life app but apparently this API is probably not maintened anymore by Tuya and is creating a lot issues so to sum up the problem is not in the HA integration but related to the Cloud API
