I bought this PIR motion sensor that works with the Tuya app:

The debug log on the Tuya IoT website is showing all entries properly:
But HA does not show any results or entities for the device 
(yes, I noticed that it says âunsupportedâ)
Any idea whatâs wrong here? I already reloaded the Tuya integration, but no changes. The smart life app shows proper status, too.
Have you had any luck this? Iâm facing the same issue.
No, sorry, I completely ditched the idea of Tuya and set up ZHA and Z2M and added all Zigbee devices locally. Tuya is just a mess.
Can you elaborate on locally?
You have any motion sensors that worked for you with HA? If so, can you send me link?

They are working quite reliable on ZHA and Z2M.
âlocallyâ meaning without cloud or Internet connection. I bought the SkyConnect stick by nabu casa, attached to my raspberry pi that runs HA, installed ZHA integration and added my zigbee devices with this. You can find thousands of pages on this matter, you just need the right key words (I think I provided them here)
Iâm using z2m on a different Pi that is too far away for the other devices, but that is a different subject.
The setup has itâs own errors, but after working on this for half a year, this is the setup I went for. Iâm slowly replacing the battery powered motion sensors with ESPs. This was recommended to me a year ago, I hated the idea, but it is 100% reliable - at least for me at the moment.
