I’ve recently moved my HA setup to docker if that’s relevant, but I seem to be getting these Tuya authentication required messages. It provides me with a QR code, and if I scan it with my phone it says QR code expired…
Restarting HA doesn’t help.
Any idea’s ? I’d rather not remove and re-install as I don’t know what that will do to any automations. I’ve seen some posts had the same and a restart fixed it, but clearly that solution doesn’t work here.
A QR code is displayed. I try to scan it via app. Code expired. I then tried to continue in HA, expecting it’d realize the QR code is void and would generate a fresh one, but only get this
UPDATE: I edited the core.config_entries in /configuration/.storage. Removing the entire block regarding tuya worked!!
After restarting Home Assistant, I had to scan the code yet again, and now the integration works. While this is a valid workaround, it kinda sucks having to manually edit a json file, because inexperienced users might mess up their configuration this way.
that helped me. I even was not able to get rid of the integration. I just have one tuya camera which I just use sometimes. After deleting the tuya integration does not appear anymore for re-authenication.
