Tuya region problem?

Trying to configure the new tuya method of integration with 2021-10-1

I am in australia so chose china data centre being the closest and the historic area such iot products require.

So, have proceeded through most steps and have scanned the QR code and confirmed.

The one line entry shows that I have 3 devices from the smart life app which is correct.

However the ‘All devices’ tab shows nothing - the instructions indicate I should see my devices at this point.

What might be wrong? There is a loud message across the top of the tuya system saying

Please note that data transfer across regions has a risk of violation of the data security regulations. If you request Tuya’s cloud services from an IP address outside the data center region, you are at risk of illegally transferring data. For example, using an IP address in the U.S.A. to access cloud services in China’s data centers will be regarded as data transfer across regions, and vice versa. Tuya will completely prohibit cross-region API calls and message subscriptions. Please deploy your cloud services properly to ensure data security.

Is this my problem or something else?

Another confusion might be that one of my three devices is in the UK…

Had a similar issue. My devices registered with a UK account all showed in the Central Europe data centre.

You can enable multiple data centres on the cloud project, I just ticked all of them to find the correct one

I am in Australia and have two devices in Australia and one in UK.
They all show up when I select ‘Central Europe’.

@BlackRhino where have you become stuck?
I have progressed from no devices listed to now having my two devices listed correctly, however…
The smart switch here in Oz works fine but the thermostat in UK is not working in HA at all.

mine seems to be a region issue and i cant get past this.

same i cant get past it no matter what ive created a new account and still same result

Sorry for resurrecting old thread, but I am also stuck. Australian user, have successfully linked my app to the developer account, but every single data centre shows 0 devices.

Using tinytuya I am able to see my 2 devices but not the local key. I have tried every data centre on that too.
