I’m using these smart Wifi sockets a while now for on/off switching of certain appliances. I noticed that they grey out in HA: meaning I can’t use them. The strange thing is that they keep on functioning in the Smart Life app. When I give HA a restart the functionality is back again. Typically this happens every 24 hours. Anyone has seen this issue also? What could be the reason.
A crappy integration is the reason.
Tuya themselves built the integration and it works really poorly.
I don’t understand why the don’t fix it, it makes a lot of people not buy Tuya.
I generally stay clear of Tuya devices just for this reason and that they replaced the ESP chip to “their own” chip
