I’ve been using Home assistance for a while, enjoying it. I have seen Smartlife devices (lightbulb, smart plugs) getting imported in HA and working ok.
However a bit turned down by one unsupported device: Tuya (smartlife) infrared blaster bought via Aliexpress. I can control a few devices with this blaster with native app Smartlife: LED lightstrip, AirCon, TV, Air purifier.
Also, while these are working with Amazon Alexa Echo pretty ok, I have not been able to use them inside Home assistant - devices are unsupported…
I am open to share more information to try at least to get to open the door for them inside HA. At least the basic function of turning on/off devices…

Following this…I have a similar device and the same issue…I also have a Moes IR RF Remote Controller that I can’t get to work with HA either!
Is there any Solution for this?
Issue was solved in about one month. Currently there is a new method of authentication of the Tuya/Smartlife integration.
what’s the new method of authentication? a new integration? I can see everything else but RF or IR hub is still unsupported with no entity exposed.
