Tuya sockets have stopped working

I have a couple of Tuya sockets which have worked well with HA and Alexa, I use them for Christmas Tree lights. This morning neither of them work with with HA or Alexa, but they do work with the Tuya app.

A quick google suggests disabling the skill on Alexa and re-enabling, linking the account again which I have done with no change. I have also removed the integration on HA and added it again with no change there.

Is it possible that Tuya have remove third party access?

Do you get any Errors according to the logs in HA?
What Version of HA are you using? Did you do an Update of HA? I am Asking because the Integration has changed in the newer version from configuration.yaml to Configuration -> Integrations in the UI.
Does HA at least get the latest status of the plug or is the plug greyed out?
According to https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/tuya/ :
Did you try the service call: force_update ? If yes, what Errors do you also get?

Thank you for the suggestions, is it not weird that HA and Alexa have both stopped connecting to them?

I appreciate the checklist:

no

Home Assistant 0.118.5 - keep it on latest

weirdly one is greyed out, the other shows as on, even when turned off by the Tuya App

I have just tried that, no response and no logs

They have suddenly started working again, looks like a problem at the Tuya side. Tempted to flash them!

I have the same problem. Did you do anything special? Did you delete and reinstalled the integration?

It does not appear to be a Home Assistant related problem as I’m experiencing the same issues with Google Home. Some of my Tuya lights work, some simply don’t. I guess we have to sit tight until Tuya fixes that.

I appear to have a possibly related issue. I’ve 6 Tuya plugs with HA/Node-Red automation. In the last day 3 switched on as normal but then they mysteriously switched off after approx 5 minutes (each at different times of the day). I’m on the latest HA version (118.5) and nothing in logs.

I did, but that didn’t seem to help. The problem then fixed itself a couple of hours later.

It works for me again. I had to delete the integration and install it again.

State of the various switches quit working for me today - in that if I changed a switch in Tuya app, or with Alexa HA does not see the change, however I could toggle the state on HA and it would trigger a state change on the Tuya switch.

I tried to delete/resetup the integration, now it doesn’t show the devices at all - integration shows with 0 devices.

This is indeed a problem on the tuya side.
In my case, everything stopped working on every third party integration: home assistant and alexa. The tuya app was working though.
After some hours, some devices recovered, but there is one which is still rogue. Not sure what to do about it.
