I recently purchased 2 of these units and connected them to HA via zigbee2mqtt, they both were discovered fine and presented as a 4 switch controller in HA.

I set them up to turn various devices on/off via single button press which all worked fine. Upon further use I noticed that when no buttons have been pressed for a while, when a button is first pressed nothing happens (get an led confirmation flash on button but no mqtt/HA log entry), pressing button again and all works normally. This is 100% repeatable and not a random delay.

Has anyone experienced this with these devices? Is there a fix?

Could it be a battery issue or ZigBee dropping issue? I have 2 of them and all is working fine.

They came without batteries so I had to buy new ones, so all good on that front. Approx 3m away from conbee stick direct line of site, so should be good signal level.

I have just bought one of these and have the same issue, did you solve it or live with it?

I junked mine and purchased the aquara 6 button units which work fine.
