Tuya TS0601 Thermostat - cannot enter pairing mode

I’ve bought 22 of these devices and I paired them all successfully. One stopped responding to Z2MQTT so and I noticed that it reported that the batteries were not good - which was strange in itself.

I’ve replaced the batteries and tried to access menu 5 again on the device - only it does not show. The menu only goes to 5. I’ve taken a new device out of the box and the menus on it are as expected but on this troublesome one it just doesn’t go back to 5…(pairing mode)

Has anyone got any suggestions? I cannot see a reset button on the thermostat

I have the same issue with one of my TS0601/_TZW200_cpmgn2cf devices (10 others are ok). Having changed the batteries, the Settings mode now only goes to ‘4’ and won’t go into Zigbee pairing mode. Tried doing Advanced option B to reset the TRV, but doesn’t make any difference. Left the batteries out for 3 days, but that didn’t make any difference either. Very frustrating. Has anyone found a solution?!?
