Tuya Video Intercom

So, I currently bought a new house and got some “smart” appliances within in for free. One of the appliances is a Video Doorbell/Intercom. I haven’t tested the hardware itself but based on the discussion with the housing developer I guess it will be some tuya stuff. The hardware look like this.

My question is, can I integrate it with home assistant using local connection? Because from what I understand, things like video doorbell / door lock usually rely on the cloud? If there is any add-ons that can support my use case, please let me know.

You can try test it via the Tuya integration see if it shows up once you add it to the Tuya Smart APP see if the functions show in HA.

First interaction here…

I have a simliar issue. I have this Tuya Video Intercom

but the HA Tuya integration (cloud) is only able to connect to the video stream.

I can actually visualize it as a camera, but no interation as a video intercom. No ability to release the door and answer rings.

did you guys find anything about this after all ?
