Tuya wifi radiator controller with external temp reading

Hi,

I have been using shelly TRVs, but somehow they are getting to their end of lifes.
Now, one of the shellies for a radiator installed in a room 1st floor is located in the basement (no other possibility) - actually I am running it by sending real temperature using a small esphome device.
Does anyone know a cheap tuya wifi TRV which also supports external temperature readings?
Or did anyone already implement something like this using HA for setting valve position based on temperature readings?

You could set up a generic thermostat that controls the TRVs thermostat

@Hellis81 sounds very good, thank you! I did not know about this yet. I wonder if it also is possible to set something like a daily or weekly plan for it

to answer my own question. I think using appdaemon should easily do the trick :slight_smile:
