Hello,

Can anyone help me with backlight kit selection? I was considering following item

but not sure if it is compatible with Home Assistant. Can any one share what you have used for backlighting? Also it would be great if you can mention how you draw power for the strip? I am worried about long hanging cables around home.

Can’t help with a recommendation but that link would suggest those LEDs are controllable with the Magichome app.

If you don’t mind a bit of work creating it this is as good as it gets…

Has an official HA component, loads of vids on youtube showing what it can do.
