I currently have a simple 2-channel controller running my heating system. It is a pain to program and is not ‘smart’ in any sense of the word!
I want to replace it with a device that can integrate with HA for the sake of setting and checking the schedule as well as monitoring the status status and overriding as necessary. I use the two channels for controlling two zones within the house.
The switches are mains voltage but low current because they just trigger a pair of motorised valves. I could use a generic switch of some sort but I need it to function independently once set up so that it is not reliant on HA running and I would like it to have a simple local interface that can be used to boost or override the settings if necessary without needing to use a separate device to interact with it via HA.
What hardware options are there that people can recommend?
