Two LED strips - different color balance, but same color temp & brightness in HA

Hi all,

I have an issue with two LED RGBWW strips from two different vendors.
Unfortunately physical brightness and color temperature differs if both strips are turned on (2x zigbee controllers, same model).

E.g. brightness: 69 and color_temp: 370 has the effect that
Strip A -> orange
Strip B -> greenish

How can I (re)sync them, so that if I control on the group both have the same physical effect?

Thanks for your ideas! Currently I am only aware of using custom scenes to balance that out, but that is not the idea of having these LED strips.

Unless your controllers offer color balance and gamma correction the only way is by supplying scaled values to each controller.

Usually I find it is the controller that is the problem. Get yourself some magichome LED controllers from ali express. They show the same color for my strips even though all the strips came from different vendors. This helped for me, hope this helps for you. These controllers are really cheap and they’ll probably (most certainly) work better than your current controllers!
