Two or more Bluetooth dongle

Hi,

i run a raspberry Pi 4 with HA for a while. In the meantime i have some bluetooth devices integrated. From tim to time it looks like they disappear and i need to restart. I have 12 bluetooth devices like Victrom, a TPMS and shelly. The signal quality is between -60db and -85db, also devices with -61db disappear, so I thought this is not a range problem (system is running in a motorbike with less steal).

Can I add another bluetooth dongle (yes) to share the connectivity? Does HA took the better radio to connect or do I have to disable the Raspberry internal one and just use the added one?

yeah, but that mean another permanent power consuming device, even if it is 0,5w in a motorhome, each Wh counts :slight_smile: And i want to avoid as much wifi as possible … but thank you for pointing out …
