Two tasmota plugs display identical intermittent unavailability

I have two Tasmota smart plugs from Local Bytes.
They worked fine for months, but recently started displaying intermittent unavailability. This did not start after a conscious action that I took, as far as I know.
The intermittent unavailability is clear from the two figures attached. They simply disappear for some hours, then come back online for a while. The plugs still transmit electricity while unavailable in HA. It should not be related to network strength, as one plug is very close to the router and the other far away, yet they are displaying identical behaviour.

After multiple restarts and installing all HA updates, the problem persists.
I tried the suggestion in this post to put the 2.4Ghz band on a fixed channel (channel 1, in my case), but that did not solve the issue.

If you would have a suggestion to solve this, I would be grateful.

Best regards,
Sam

Hi SDEB,

I would check your WIFI and make sure you have different SSID’s for the 5 and 2.4 WIFI bands. If they both have the same SSID, you can confuse IOT devices and cause similar.

Thank you, this appears to have solved the problem.
