Hi all,
im new to Home Assistant and Home Automation, but not unexperienced.
HA is up and running with a lot of devices (Several Miio devices and Mi-Hub “03” with AlexxIT Firmware flashed and several Sonoff Devices)
To add more Devices i want to add generic Zigbee and ccu3-Support.
Im running HassOS on an Rasp 4B and i want to add a “Raspbee II” and a " HM-MOD-RPI-PCB" for Homeatic-Support to the same PI. These two devices using UART and the Pi only provide one UART-Port.
I Found the Waveshare Serial Expansion HAT
(Sorry, i have to remove the Link, cause im new here “2 Links only”. Google “Serial Expansion HAT” )
With this Extension i can Use 2 UART-Ports.
Can someone tell me if it`s possible to communicate with these two devices with Home Assistant at the same time (HassOS!) if i install this Serial-HAT?
I Know there is a USB-Stick called “Conbee II” and its working fine, but i want to place all components into the same Case of my pi.
