Ubiquiti mFi light switches not showing in HASS

I have added mFi switch component to configuration.yaml but my switches do not show in UI or as entity under developer options>>Set State.

Anyone successfully utilizing mFi switches?
Anything special required to get this working?

I know that the mFi outlets work with the mFi component, however the light switches do not.

I was able to get them to work after some small alterations to the script found here: http://community.ubnt.com/t5/mFi/bash-script-for-controlling-mFi-devices/m-p/1495067#M15796

Then I used the commandline component to turn it on and off. I however, cannot figure out how to get the state correct and/or use a slider for the dimmer.

Any additional details on how to do this? I’m a complete noob to this, and don’t know much about scripting. I was able to get all the other mfi power outlets working correctly, but the light switches have me stumped.
