I was wondering how you add/remove the little circular status icons pic below I have lots of them that just clutter my ui

It’s not Lovelace, is it?
Then you need to customize it.
It probably IS Lovelace and they were automatically added, because they haven’t “taken control” of their UI yet.

hit the three dot menu in upper right of page, configure ui, then take control and start managing your Lovelace
