UK Lights (no neutral)

Today I found the Shelly 1. It’s like the fibaro Pete mentioned, but wifi instead of zwave and it’s only 9,90 euro. Out of the box it does have cloud support, but according to The Hook Up it does work with tasmota!

Nothing related to burning your house down.

Try these http://www.wifi-smart-home.co.uk/smart-wi-fi-light-switches.html they seem to have solved the problem. ?

I bought one of these to test as I was told they are ESP8266 based. However, the newer models are using the WR4 Tuya chips based on the RTL8710BN chip. You can’t reflash them to remove the internet dependency which is a real shame as other than that, they are perfect.

I have the exact same requirements as the OP. things seem to have improved recently but there is a real lack of affordable, off the shelf options.
