UK Met Office Datapoint replacement?

I use the Met Office integration in a few of my automations (alerting when a door is open and it’s going to rain, for example). I noticed today that all of my sensors are unavailable and went online to check that my API key hasn’t expired or anything.

I see that the API is due to expire in March 2025, to be replaced by something called DataHub. Is anyone working on an integration to use DataHub?

In the meantime, does anyone have any recommendations for integrations that provide good data in the U.K.? I’m currently using the temp, probability of precipitation and three-hourly forecast.

The UK Met Office publishes its weather forecasts via two APIs: DataPoint (old, with a deprecation timeline) and DataHub (new, still being developed). You have to get a different DataHub API.

In the meantime, I can verify that my Met Office integration went unavailable today too, so it seems it’s a service issue rather than an us issue.
