Hi, trying to find a UK smart socket that has USB-C and works with home assistant. Any recommendations?
Not found anything myself, although I do have a load of these which are excellent and highly recommended.
I dare say there will be some from Aliexpress, but I’d put these solidly in the “YMMV” camp, given their inevitable lack of UK / EU certification.
Thanks. In that case I’ll probably opt for a decent non smart socket and rely on smart bulbs or switches for lamps
Not quite a plug with usb C but these work with HA and allow you power on/off your usb powered equipment and you can just use with a dumb plug…

You can get Zigbee socket extensions - four plug sockets and several USB sockets on a 2m lead - but I’ve never seen a wall socket with USB. May be something to do with interference.
I’ve kept one dumb socket pair in each room so that I can have USB. Otherwise I have the ones recommended by @daern
Frankly, it’s hard enough to get a useful USB-C UK 13A single or double socket - most from Toolstation / Screwfix are 2A 5v only, and several only work with one USB-C at a time.
I’ve not seem a decent USB-C with 5/9/15/20V, and the only remote switched sockets were Lightwave RF.
Matter 13A plug-in switches are arriving on the market, and coming down in price (and I’d expect to have a longer life than most).
