Hi
I had to restore HA to a previous version, and following the restore, the Tuya integration reports that it has been unable to authenticate. Opening the integration, does not display the usual “Reauthenticate” ("Reconfigure?) button. (I’m speaking from memory - not quite sure what the button is called.
I removed the integration and started a fresh setup. After entering the User code, I get a turning circle in the bottom right corner of the window. I.e., it does not open the QR code.
Things I’ve tried:
- Four different browsers and different PC’s without any luck;
- Disabled IPv6 since I’ve read that doing that may resolve the issue, but it made no difference;
- Restored an older backup;
- Deleted “Home Assistant” as a third-party integration in the Tuya app under the Account and Security section of the mobile app.
- Tried two different Tuya integrations from HACS, but I ran into the same issue with both. HA doesn’t get past the “User code” and only shows the turning blue circle.
I don’t know if this is a bug or if the restore messed up an important file. I can probably delete some file or file entry to reset the authentication process, but I have no idea where/how.
I’ve spent hours on the internet looking for an answer, but could not find anyone experiencing a similar issue. Most people having a related issue get to the QR code, but as explained, nothing happens after entering the User code.
I’m in a panic and would appreciate help.
Thank you
