Unable to connect to Home Assistant - Error Code 404

I’m attempting to access my new Home Assistant Green for the first time. I keep seeing “404: Not found.” When I search on the Home Assistant app on my android nothing is found. When I enter http://homeassistant.local:8123 or alternatively the IP address for the device, I get the error message. This is both on my android and different browsers. The device is connected to a Google Wifi router. I see the Home Assistant device on my network. I can see command lines when I plug my monitor directly into the device. I’m a newbie and appreciate any help!

From your Google WiFi settings, can you determine the device’s IP address and then try to connect to that directly from a browser?

Yes. I have located the IP address and using 192.168.XX.XX:8123 had no success.

Kenny with CloudFree provided a solution. With a keyboard and monitor plugged into the HA hub, in the command line I entered CORE_UPDATE That reset the device and access was available.
