Recently, my many years old Home Assistant system stopped connecting via Firefox (mac).
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.61:8123.
At one point, I could log in via Chrome, but not now.
http://192.168.1.61:8123/lovelace is unreachable.
I can log in via Safari at this time.
I get notices on the browser page that connection was lost.
The HA seems real slow also. Example: graphics are not shown completed; it takes forever for pages to load.
I also removed the sim card and replaced with a several month old backup. No change.
I can intermittently connect via the iphone mobile app when on my local network and remotely.
Currently I get the Alomofire.AFError 9 error.
I am able to access the folders via samba, consistently.
Lanscan shows the Home Assistant RPi at the designated address, which is a static IP address assigned in my router. the RPi is hardwired to the network switch.
I think this is an issue with my network based on this thread. I am not a networking wiz, and any recommendations are appreciated.
One post is as follows, but I am not sure where to check in my system and for what:
The DNS server on my desktop is my router’s address. My router’s DNS is an address I do not know, and suspect it is my ISP’s.
