I’m not sure, but i guess that my findings are related to this problem: i recently installed ESPHome into docker. I have it in my HA supervised on Syno VM, too, but i rather use Docker option, since it’s way faster.
I found interesting “phenomenon” when i run Install → manual download:
- running from Syno VM: after compiling FW is automatically downloaded, i don’t even have to click “download”, but if i do click on “download” i get the same file again;
- running from Docker: auto-download doesn’t happen, click on “download” does nothing. BUT, right-click to “download” opens new window and downloads FW file.
