Unable to edit friendly name of my sensors

I’m unable to edit the friendly name of my sensors in zigbee2mqtt. Just have setup a new installation and on my previous installation I don’t recall this issue. I have also tried removing the sensor from home-assistant, hoping I was able to edit then.

you should give us the error log . and you maybe, should use the zigbee2mqtt frontend.

I’m using z2m as hassio addon and installed it using the repository. There I’m going to the sensor setting and want to adjust the friendly name there, which is a greyed out text field. Error logs are empty.

You can’t rename on that screen. You have to do it on the ‘devices’ screen. The blue button.

So i was able to do this for all of my devices except my newest one, the blue button no longer shows up for any device

It is a bug that will be fixed in the next version

On iOS the blue button doesn’t show up in portrait mode either. Flipping the phone on it’s side to landscape makes it show up (at least on iOS).
