Unable to edit UI Lovelace Minimalist? "The edit UI is not available when in YAML mode"

Hi all,

Relatively new to Home Assistant (2 months) and loving it so far. I’ve got a lot of my devices integrated into HA as well as Google Home and Alexa. Now I am starting to play around with dashboards and have actually found that very daunting (well, maybe not so daunting as I am still learning styles and my dashboards look ugly as sin compared to others I see posted on here - obviously a work in progress and hope it gets better!

Anyways, I installed UI lovelace minimalist as that seems to be the favorite of many of the folks on here. I did that, installed the requisite cards, and now have a link to it in my sidebar (as can be seen in my screenshot). When I do click on it and see my dashboard, I don’t see any options to configure the look, or even the ability to edit anything. I get “The eduit US is not available when in YAML mode”. I’ve changed mode: storage as I came across via searching the forums and googling. This however still does not give me the ability to change anything. What am I doing wrong???

I have tried re-installing several times and starting over, but the same result. I feel like I’m missing something basic, but for the life of me, can’t figure out what. Am I missing something??
