Unable to enter space character into form fields

I’m unable to enter the space character into text strings in form fields shown in the UI.

For instance - using the TTS google voice - I can’t enter “Hello there” as the UI refuses to acknowledge I hit the space bar.

IS it just me?

Thanks all,
Brendan

Works fine here with chrome browser on laptop and phones.

Having the same issue on chromium on ubuntu. Firefox seems to work fine. I also can’t use the arrow keys. Using ctrl+arrow keys does work.

Still have this issue

Using vivaldi version 4.1.2369.21
and home assistant core-2021.9.3

I’ve got the same issue ever since I got my new laptop a few months back.
It only occurs for me on this one PC on chrome. Firefox works fine, and Chrome on other PCs works fine as well.

Same issue here now, no spacebar and no arrow keys. Chrome@windows 11, latest version of both, HA on RP5, installed an hour ago.

Same here. Interesting, that this behaviour is related to some, but not all text fields. E.g. when i start debug pipeline with Assist, i can type spaces in modal dialog, and then, for consecutive requests, i suddenly can’t. Same stuff going on with automations/scripts: some things are working, some not, and i have to go to YAML to put spaces there, or copy space somewhere on the page and paste it instead of typing…
It’s pretty annoying, and it’s not only me looks like.

P.S. i use Chrome on both Windows and Mac
