Unable to hide Denon AVR from state screen

I have a Denon AVR receiver (AVR-X2200W) that shows up in the States screen. I would like to hide it (as I want to include it in an automation rule). I’ve tried with hidden and hide_entity, but it doesn’t work.

This is what I have in my configuration.yaml:

  - platform: denonavr
    hide_entity: True
